High Roans is nestled at the foot of the Howgills, on the Dales Way walk and only a 10 minute stroll from the town centre. An ideal touring base for both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, and just 5 miles from Junction 37 of the M6 motorway. With stunning views from the guests dining room and balcony of Holme Fell and the Lune Valley. There is also a patio area with excellent views for your enjoyment.

Walking the Dales Way? We are only 10 minutes walk from the route and have ample room for boots, bags and have drying facilities. After a hot shower, comfy bed and a hearty breakfast you will be ready to face the next days walk.

For cyclists and motorbikers, we have safe garage facilities for storing bikes, along with washing facilities if required (for the bikes) and drying facilities should you need them.
