Unfortunately I was unable to stay any longer than one night in Sedbergh at High Roans but I will certainly endeavour to return. Everything about the accomodation was first class, the rooms were spotlessly clean and well furnished and the breakfast was well prepared and delicious and the view from the dining room was really wonderful. Mrs Milburn was a host of supreme quality- nothing was too much trouble and I would recommend this bed and breakfast establishment to anyone- without reservation.

We received a warm welcome as we wearily finished the Dent Head to Sedbergh leg of our Dales Way walk, and a super shower to revive us. A most comfortable place to rest for a couple of days (and visit a bookshop or two). Stunning views from High Roans. Porridge to die for. Highly recommended.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms were comfortable, with everything you could need, and the breakfasts were great (we recommend the porridge!) Thank you, Kath, for your hospitality.

Whether you wish to paint or fish, walk or roam,or merely absorb the unique but everchanging views of the surrounding dales, there is no better place to do that from than 'High Roans'.
In house your comfort is superbly cared for and the breakfasts that are served are first rate.
Kath Milburn is a kind and considerate person who goes out of her way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

A most comfortable and tastefully decorated room. We were warmly welcomed to this beautifully situated B&B with its magnificent views.
